8/2/24- The South Dalton Ranch HOA Board would like to take this opportunity to remind residents that this is high season for wildlife. There have been multiple mountain lion sightings in the neighborhood over the last couple of weeks. Most of these sightings have been on the west side of the neighborhood in yards that back up to holes 6 and 7. Remember to keep pets on a leash or inside. Adults should closely supervise childrens if they are playing in yards that back to green spaces where wildlife tends to be drawn to as they prey on other wildlife.
5/2/24- La Plata County approved the revised 2010 FEMA Flood Zone Map on April 25, 2024. The newly adopted FEMA Flood Zone Map shows that the South Dalton Ranch Subdivision is now out of the 100 year flood zone. This being said, according to FEMA, whether a homeowner and/or their mortgage company select to keep their flood insurance is still an option. If you want to opt out, please contact your mortgage lender and they may be able to assist you, or you can contact the State FEMA Director, Diana Herrera at Diana.herrera@fema.dhs.gov.2.
5/2/24- Phoenix Trash and Recycling Company now requires trash bins at all dog poop stations. The dog poop stations located adjacent to empty homeowner lots will remain, but will be relocated when building on these lots commences. Please be sure to always use the new dog poop bins.
